'29 Ford Roadster by DominikScherrer
'29 Ford Roadster
This hot rod is a pretty classic one without much chrome. It's supposed to look like a salt flats roadster. As a background I made some vintage lettering in pinstriping style. The lettering has no actual meaning, I just didn't know what to write. I also don't know if there's a real Randy's speed shop.  The drawing was done with touch markers and posca markers on a4 bristol smooth paper. This time I didn't use any pastels or colored pencils, it just was not necessary. I gusess it took about 15 hours to finish and I really like the result, especially the lettering stuff and the color combo of the car.

BMW M3 E92 Liberty Walk by DominikScherrer
BMW M3 E92 Liberty Walk
This drawing was done with markers, pastels, colored pencils and white gel pen on a4 bristol smooth pad. The ink splatters where done with black watercolor. As always I don't really remember the time it took to finish this drawing but I guess it was about 18 hours. Please feel free to comment and tell me what you think.

'64 Chevy C10 by DominikScherrer

This drawing took me about 20 hours to finish i guess. It was done with markers, pastels, white gel pen and colored pencils (for applying the patina) on A4 bristol smooth paper. Other than on the Ford rat rod, I here tried a different technique to draw the patina. It took a few days till I figured out what I could draw as a background because I wanted to do something diefferent as usual. In the end I decided to do some simple but clean lettering which goes hand in hand with to the smooth wheels but at the same time gives a good contrast to the dirty patina paint of the truck. I really like the finished drawing.

This drawing was done with markers, pastels, watercolors for the background and white gel pen for the highlights on A4 bristol smooth paper. It took about 16 hours to finish and I pretty like the result.

Hey all! I've just created a page for my work on facebook. I will not only post my finished drawings but also some WIPs. I would be more than happy if you also look by there now and then.
